Alison Buckholtz is a writer and editor for Handshake: The World Bank Group’s Quarterly Journal on Public-Private Partnerships, the publication launched by IFC’s Advisory Services in Public-Private Partnerships in 2011. Handshake has explored PPPs in over a dozen sectors – including climate, health, food, reconstruction, cities, and waste – and features original articles and interviews with experts such as U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, urban economist Edward Glaeser, ONE CEO Michael Elliott, World Bank Group vice president and special envoy for climate change Rachel Kyte, former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Melanne Verveer, UN Special Representative Kandeh Yumkalla, and many others.
